Who we are

EcommifyHub ("we", "us") is a digital marketing agency serving ecommerce and service businesses in the United States, the United Kingdom and elsewhere. Our US office is at 375 Bridgeport Ave, Shelton, CT 06484, United States. Our team works remotely, with headquarters in Karachi, Pakistan.

This policy explains what personal information we collect through ecommifyhub.com, how we use it, and the choices you have. For UK and EU data protection law, EcommifyHub is the controller of the personal data described here.

Information we collect

Information you give us

When you fill in one of our forms (the free audit request, the detailed audit form or the contact form) we collect what you enter, which can include:

• Your name, email address and phone number
• Your website address and business details, such as platform, revenue range and the services you are interested in
• Anything you write in a message field

If you contact us by email, phone or WhatsApp, we keep the details of that conversation.

Information collected automatically

• Usage data: pages viewed, time on page, referring site, device, browser and approximate location (country or city level), collected through Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity.
• Session recordings and heatmaps: Microsoft Clarity records clicks, scrolling and mouse movement to show us how the site is used. Clarity masks text you type into form fields.
• Form journey: when you submit a form, we record the pages you visited beforehand so we understand what brought you to us.
• Chat link clicks: we record when someone clicks a WhatsApp link on our site, so we know which pages lead to conversations.

How we use your information

• To prepare and send the free audit or proposal you asked for
• To reply to your questions and arrange calls
• To provide our services if you become a client
• To understand how visitors use the site and improve it
• To keep the site secure and prevent spam or abuse
• To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you.

• Legitimate interests: replying to enquiries, keeping the site secure and understanding how it is used.

We use cookies and similar storage to run the site and to measure how it is used.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking analytics cookies does not stop the site from working. You can also opt out of Google Analytics with the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.

Who we share it with

We share personal information only with service providers that help us run the site and our business, and only as much as they need:

• Hostinger: website hosting
• Google: analytics and email (Google Workspace)
• Microsoft: Clarity analytics
• Meta (WhatsApp): if you choose to message us on WhatsApp, WhatsApp's own privacy policy applies
• Email delivery provider: to send form notifications to our team

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, to protect our rights, or as part of a business sale or merger.

International transfers

Our team and some of our providers are located outside the UK and EU, including in the United States and Pakistan. Where we transfer personal data internationally, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the standard contractual clauses used by our providers.

How long we keep it

• Enquiries and audit requests that do not become projects: up to 24 months, then deleted
• Client records: for the length of the engagement and up to 6 years after, for legal and accounting reasons
• Analytics data: according to the retention settings of Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you
• Ask us to correct or delete it
• Object to or restrict how we use it
• Receive a copy in a portable format
• Withdraw consent at any time, where we rely on consent
• Opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information (US state privacy laws). We do not sell personal information.

To use any of these rights, email info@ecommifyhub.com. We will reply within one month. If you are in the UK, you can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO); in the EU, to your local data protection authority.

Security

We use HTTPS across the site, keep our software up to date and limit access to personal information to the people who need it. No method of sending or storing data is completely secure, but we work to protect your information.

Children

Our services are for businesses. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you think a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of the page shows when it last changed. Significant changes will be highlighted on this page.
